Simple Folk's Jig

Simple Folk are a local Irish folk band that help my band out every year at our concert. It's hard to not get your foot tapping when they play.

Comments about the tune welcomed.

Very nice tune.
I did think the Tarluath needed another variation or a lemluath variation before it. Other than that I thought it was a very musical tune.

I might change the second group of three 8th notes in the 6th bar (Eight-dotted-Sixteenth-Eighth) to a Quarter Note-Eighth Note sequence.
2nd, 3rd or 4th part?

ok i changed it in the last part to LA_4 dg B_8) and liked it.
thanks david

Lismore Pipe Band's Diamond Jubilee

This year my band celebrates it's Diamond Jubilee(hence the tune).

I was hoping for some input or suggestions that may improve the tune or should I leave it as is?

March To Menin Gate

A tune I wrote after I visited Ypres while with the Australian Army.

I enjoy playing this tune. Hope some of you will too.

I actually didn't mean that the drones kept playing through the drum break, but I think that could be an intersting idea. Or better yet, the use of a didgeridoo. It was just how it came out when i wrote the score in BMW, the Drones kept plaing over the rests. So, if SFU isn't available, will there b...

Notes Of Nine - Suite

Feedback welcomed

I left the drumming break in the score. So you'll get a few bars of Drones only.

Retreat - Norris Farm

Written as tribute to Bob Norris (Bagpipechat.com)
I had some good input by Scott McLellan in writting the tune, so he is credited with myself.

Blessing The Bar

The Bar was constructed, so what better way christen it but with a blessing from the battalions chaplain and a good nights drinking and piping. The Chaplian was a keen piping student....oh and wasn't opposed to a beer either.
