Abide With Me

I thought I'd stick with something traditional and easy for my first tryout of the new Piobmaster Pro. You'll notice the file extension is changed from .pio to .pmb but don't worry; you can just download the trial version for free. OK, you can't print or amend the tune in any way with it in Trial mo...

Just had a thought though. As a teaching aid, there's no reason why someone shouldn't buy a full version and, for instance say, all the learners in the band just install the trial version. Then they could simply use it as a standalone player/teaching aid. You only really need the full version if you...

Yes. I recommend you get an iPhone, and download Murray Blair's tuner app, based on his HBT2. :)[/img]

Was it a problem installing, getting it to open tunes, or to play the tunes Greg? I have it installed on my Win 7 without any issues other than the usual reg issue. I have also just bought and installed PMPro3 upgrade. You need to have Microsoft's .NET v3.5 installed, then v4 Framework. Although Win...

Since nobody has complained about this upload, I've just edited the relevant details and left it here. Haven't rewritten the file though, so it will still say Nameless on the file if you download it. :)

Murray Blair's iPhone app

Now available for download (iPhone only at the moment). Got mine yesterday, can't get over how well it works. Anybody want to buy a now defunct Korg tuner? :D

Just do a search for Bagpipe Tuner from your iPhone or iPad. Much cheaper than shelling out for the HBT2.

Thanks for that Skibum. I've only just rediscovered this site as I was under the impression it was long since defunct. Glad to see I was wrong. And yup, the pic is from (I think) 1978. The churches are no longer there as the whole college was demolished and rebuilt as an Army Foundation College. Bei...

Soldier Magazine 1978

Good Grief! I found this in an archived copy of Soldier Magazine. I remember the pic being taken, and I even remember the article being published. Unfortunately, the waistline is a VERY distant memory. I know it's under there somewhere now, though. I like to think of it as additional protection, cou...

I thought not. Obviously, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism isn't your forte.

So, I'll throw it open for discussion.

Who can spot the errors, or can offer any other suggestions for improvement?
