Sounds like the symbols file got hosed

so there is some place in bmw that refers to a note symbol that now refers to a arrow or star as you describe. There also seems to be something wrong with the template. Did you install any new programs on the computer that could have overwritten these files? No didn't think so, but it was a guess. I...

Things to try

I have been nominated to play amazing grace at my father's memorial service. It is only 16 bars. How many times should I repeat it?

Thanks for the update on windows 7

I guess I will be able to upgrade. You can slow down tunes in Bagpipe writer by the way, if you open a tune and go to configure, and then change the tempo in play options. It is not pretty, but it works.

A possible theory.

You are not hyperventilating before you start playing anymore. The total amount of air it takes to play the pipes is the same, but the amount to fill the bag is less. I have upon occasion nearly fainted because I was in a hurry to fill the bag with air, and I blew up the bag quick and made myself li...

I got this for Fathersday, and it is a pretty good book. The tunes are not that complex, but they are a lot of fun to play, and they do give you the sense that you are playing a different kind of music. I don't know that I will ever play more than ten tunes in the book, but the ones I am playing now...
