this tune had the 2nd and 3rd parts the opposite way around but i then thought it sounded better the way i have it now. feel free to let me know what you think it suits better. thanks
This tune got its name because of a very rocky trip back home to Ireland upon the Stena Line boat after the Europeans in Inverclyde. the boat was going side to side so much that everything was falling off the shelves.
I wrote this tune after the band in which I play (Letterkenny & District) were crowned Cowal Champions and Supreme Champion of Champions 2009 in Dunoon. The third part of the tune is a gracenote exercise that was taught to me and the band by the late Jim Eaton.
