Jedidiah's Little Mac

I wrote this tune for my friend Jed, who is an excellent piper and a piping critic. I hope this doesn't sound too 'slarmy.'

Lidia's Melon Patch

New tune written after hearing the name of another tune I recently learned with the band.

Just modified it as I don't think I had it written in the correct time signature. Now a 4/4 Reel with a 3rd and 4th part.

I think it's an improvement over the two parted 2/2 Reel.

Paddy's Green Shamrock Shore

Played this tune back in 2001 with the Putnam County Sheriff's Department Pipe Band - Grade 4. Nice transition tune for a medley. It also sounds great on small pipes!

Will Ye Go Lassie Go

Over the summer I was asked to play this tune during the processional at a wedding. I had heard the tune in church, but didn't know much else about it. I always thought it had a nice melody. So I wrote out what I think best fits on the pipes. Actually, it's a very pretty, expressive tune, despite th...

Tune written to commemorate a 1997 band trip to Bermuda.

Tune was composed to after the band's trip to Bermuda to play in the Tattoo. The band spend many days together piping, eating and drinking, which helped us all get to know each other better, and put aside our differences - hence "Iron Out the Wrinkles."

The Sow's Trot to the Potato Hole

My friend, Peter Hearty named this tune. When he heard the tune, he though of an expression in Ireland, where he's from, that described the walk of a pig to the hole in the ground where the farmer throws food scraps. I originally wrote this out as a 4/4, but after playing it a few times, I realized ...
