I have carried my pipes onboard many times. So far there hasn't been any problem about the case (mine is soft sided and small) but I am prepared to dismantle them down to the smallest parts and put them in a plastic shopping bag if necessary to make them fit into the size requirements to get onboard...

I don't think there has been a new release of Bagpipe Music Writer Gold since 1999. With the release of the 'free' program (Bagpipe Music Reader) there was no financial incentive to develop the program further. You might want to ask around to see if anyone has fixed the problems with the program and...

I have had valves in my pipes for the past 5 years and they are fantastic. Instant improvement in starts and stops, as well as the tone with striking in. I ca...

This is a GUESS only - I have heard this tune played many times at Robbie Burns Nights when the piper plays out the Haggis after the Address. Maybe it has become 'traditional' to play it then.
Our PM is ex-48th and he usually plays it to pipe out the Haggis.

I came upon this traditional tune today and liked it so well I have posted it on the Public Domain forum.

I also posted seconds that were in my archive but not ascribed to anyone. If any forumite objects to the seconds let me know and I will remove them.
