The Ashbourne Gathering's Welcome to Sir Andrew Walker-Okeov
I wrote this to welcome the new Chieftain, Sir Andrew, to the games in 2005. His father was the founder of the Ashbourne Gathering in the 1970's and now one of Englands prettiest and most enjoyable highland games.

Le Gaiety Escape
I was in Lorient in 2000 with The City of Newcastle Pipe Band and Le Gaiety Pub was our "local". Some of the guys were still there at 4 am one morning when the local gendamerie called. They all escaped out the back door and over the fence - a great escape if ever there was one!

Der Dudelgüggel Aus Basel
I wrote this for Phil Muheim and the guys of the City of Basle Caledonia based on the fact that I mistook the baselisk on their emblem for a chicken (güggel in Swiss). Dudelsak is German for bagpipe, hence Dudelgüggel...

The High Road to Moulin
I visited Pitlochry this past weekend celebrating with my parents-in-law on their 40th wedding anniversary. My dad-in-law, also a piper, took the boys up to a wee village about 3/4 mile from Pitlochry called Moulin, there to sample some of the local ales from the Moulin Brewery (part of the Moulin H...

Katell's Farewell to the Ceilli
I was asked to write a wee tune for Katell who plays with Bagad de Kemper by a friend Stephane Marquis who plays with pipes and drums of Geneva. Katell is also Stephane's son's girlfriend and apparently "The Ceilli" is their local pub in Quimper, Brittany.
