Me (quite a few years ago ;-)

Post by viperpiper » Wed Jan 19, 2005 1:04 am

I found an old promotional leaflet for scottish highland games with a picture of me on the back of it. I remember the picture getting taken because I was desperately trying to do some last minute practice of "Achmountains Bonnie Glen" before I was due on in the competition and this photographer kept breaking my concentration. I though he was just a tourist - and to think, I could have started a modeling career with the royalties

Is that you? I've seen this photo quite a few times on Highland games promotional leaflets, and, I think, even in the Sunday Post!

Yep - really is me. I scanned it from the back of a highland games promo leaflet my mum found. I didn't know anything about it untill recently.

I must of been about 10 when that was taken.
By the way - what makes you say "That doesn't even look like you"?

Thats too funny viper, roughly 5 years back, I had a similar experience as you. Stumbling across an old photo I never knew was taken. The photo I speak of is probably 20yrs old. You probably had a similar reaction that I had. My picture was only framed and put on a wall, lol, to be placed on a promo and not knowing about it till years later must have been soo shocking for ya. I'll post the pic now...
