My band is from South Africa Cape Town. Parade in Elsies River where we had our veru first march 50 years ago. some of that male piper was not available for this parade.

I am in front on on thr right.

Omar,
Thank you for sharing this wonderful photo. Most of us on this side of the pond will never encounter a pipeband like yours. The uniforms are different from what we are used to seeing, but still very much in keeping with the history and traditions of the instruments.
Would your band tunes be familiar to those who dress in the Scottish tradition?

Hi Dick

Sorry that i reply only know. We play our traditional music. eg. hyms.
we also play scotland the brave, Green hills, and a few more. then we have south african tunes that poeple sing all the time.
