You win. Our oldest piper is probably 86 or 87.

In Luton they had a piper in their grade 4 band he was about 76 may have even been older!
I joined the band as a drummer in the grade 2 band and a piper in the grade 4, only I was told sorry we're trying to keep the grade 4 band as young as possible! I said I’m not using a poxy Zimmer frame!!! And what about those pipers! I pointed out the 76 year old piper and there were also at least 5 other pipers that were older then me!
So this is a bit of a sore point for me.
I left the band after the cherry on the cake was when they told me that I could NOT have a private tutor which to point out he is an RSPBA instructor and they also said I could not go outside the band to get other tuition like the College of piping where I gained 3 piping certificates from!

I think Donald MacPherson is still piping and his in his 90's
