Hey everyone,
Here is a tune I wrote a few months ago. all the parts are pretty interchangeable if you think one of the parts works better in a different place or you just want it shorter, any part can pretty much be skipped over so as to fit your liking. any feedback would be appreciated!
Enjoy!

I like it. But should nt it be a 4/4 and not a 6/8?

A nice, driving hornreel indeed (could be reel or hornpipe--these days who can tell them apart stylistically?). Gives a lot of power without asking too much of the fingers.

Good job--and not just for a second tune.

Don't forget to compose a few pointed marches, and some light, highly melodic airs in between those hornreels.

-David.

Mechanical Note:

As mentioned, a 4/4 not 6/8. Use this code in BMW to tie those notes together:

LAr_8 Bl_8 etc. the 'r' and 'l' being the direction of the tail. Tab key between groups not to be tied.

Hey, awesome tune there! One thing you might want to check up on: the first and third bars of the sixth part are missing an eighth-note each. (keeping in mind the runs of three are played 3 notes in the time of 2.)
The tune has a very catchy melody though. I will include my version of the tune for you to look over just for fun. I haven't really changed much other than adding a few lines instead of repeats, and adding in the aforementioned eighth notes. Let me know what you think.
Awesome tune man. I can't say it enough. Keep composing.

Hey, thanks, I appreciate the comments. I looked at your revision and I see what u mean, I am still learning the art of tune composition so I dont always pick up on those things clearly if it sounds good....
I like the changes to the last part but not particularly to the 3rd and 4th parts but, thanks again for commenting, im glad u like the tune,
Cheers
