The Cocobolo Tree

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

The Cocobolo Tree

I have a Robertson/ Henderson set of pipes (as veriified by MR. Sharpe himself, no less, a few years ago when I had a wee repair done) and I love the red hue that is coming through the wood and I intend to get the whole set buffed down to the original patina some day, but I have been looking at some of the the other things that look great made from Cocobolo - pens -boxes, etc, the patterning is just lovley and nearly always different, too, just like this wee jig

If you cannot write a tune down that you can play so that they are identical, how can you truly say you know the tune!

love the last part.
"When He finally abandons You
Your wit and Your blade
Are all that keep You alive."
