So, how do titles happen?

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

So, how do titles happen?

Post by philamor » Fri Feb 04, 2011 3:48 am

I awoke the other day, as one does, except with a mind to call a tune either The Farlington Rocket or the Farlington Fair - why I have no idea. Farlington is a place in Portsmouth, so I know nought about it except that, never been, never before heard of it, what can I say. So, the 'Fair' came first, then my son, among other things a Pipe Band drummer, adapted with me what I call the 'Rocket', quite a bit trickier but ..... one may need a dram or two to get thy head around it. Can only load The Farlington Rocket Mid & BWW as the max of 5 attachments has been loaded, but if you want the JPEG Pic, let me know. Ciao.

If you cannot write a tune down that you can play so that they are identical, how can you truly say you know the tune!
