The Freedom Dash

I was driving along the dual carriage way to work the other morning, when what looked like a shrew dashed across the opposite side of the road on to the centre reservation. It then tried the same on my side, but as I approached, it stopped for about half a second, then turned tail and dashed back to the centre reservation, stopping again for only a very short period while running for cover. I never saw that wee shrew again, but have since wondered if it made it to freedom and this wee tune reflects how the whole episode unfolded.

If you cannot write a tune down that you can play so that they are identical, how can you truly say you know the tune!
