Requiem For Heroes

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

Requiem For Heroes

Post by Bill Elliot » Wed Sep 26, 2012 1:22 pm

This is my first post and it's an ideal tune for Remembrance Daya!
The attached file is a bagpipe solo arranged by Steven Small, Dirsctor of Army Bagpipe Music.
If anyone wants an MP3 fle of a draft recording of the piece by the Band of \The Royal Marines School Of Music, I will send you one. my e.maill address is

I was born and brought up in Galashiels, served for nine years in the Royal Marines, then turned to teaching. I am now retired, live in Plymouth and play golf, watch rugby and write music as a hobby.
