The South Esk Ghillie

I used to live on the banks of the River South Esk, at the bothy near Brechin, Angus, over 40 years ago. Fond memories of the fishing and the Ghillie keeping the river stocked and securing the stock from poachers and the night expeditions to shoot rabbit, hare and deer, conservation in operation to avoid over stocking, cooking eels for the work dogs and having such fun with the pet and working ferrets. Such a long time to write a tune with this in mind, but not something I've been conscious of trying to do, but here we are.

If you cannot write a tune down that you can play so that they are identical, how can you truly say you know the tune!
