Maria

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

Hi, I cannot help but wonder if the tune does progress in complexity, but misses a few tricks, like throws added in the 3rd part and the birl in the 3rd part written from the B's as a birl with the low A gracenote added (abr instead of brl in Bagpipe writer Gold, for example), with a G birl in the 4th part 3rd bar to compliment the complex gracing on the D in the 1st and 5th bar (gbr instead of brl). This springs to mind initially as one reads down and looks for the piper to add something extra as the piece progresses, but only my thoughts.
If you cannot write a tune down that you can play so that they are identical, how can you truly say you know the tune!
