Years ago we used to go to (Woollies} Woolworths and drool over
the array of sweets laid out Pick and Mix as they were called
a wee bit of this and a wee bit of that. I never saw a sweet until
I was 11 years old when they came off the Ration. I well remember
the long lines of people waiting to buy them when rationing ended.
