Hey I've tried mixing up the 2/4 version, I think it sounds pretty cool now.

What do you think?

A great old tune given a new lease on life. I'd bet that quite a few of the nice, strong melodies among the classic 4- and 6-part marches would make good hornpipes (or as my Irish music-playing friends would say about the rounded style, good reels).

Amazing what a few shots of collagen can do for an old bird!

Fantastic, I am a 17 year old piper and to me this is a great arrangement which will be a joy to play! :D :D

As a person who has written tunes and arranged most new tunes as well (PM or email me if you'd like them) this is my review.

When I was arranging tunes, a wise man once showed me that you can change most tune into a different time signature but if you follow the melody line the whole time it sounds dull.

This is 75% the original tune just speed-up. Give it some flavor, spice. Make it your own. This has great potential you just need to re-work this.
