NIGHT TRAIN TO LYDDA Hornpipe

Post by david n. siegel » Thu Nov 10, 2005 9:41 pm

Lydda = Lidd-dah

Named for the new train service to the main international airport east of Tel Aviv, which picks up near the Lebanese border in the north, and travels all the into the new train station right inside the airport terminal building.

This tune goes great with Stu Higgin's Burnin' Down the Mountain!
Try it!

Start these fast tunes by playing them very slowly, and only increase speed gradually. They are not that hard, if you're patient. If you try to play them too fast at the start, you're liable to twist the digits.

Have fun,
-David.

:D Thanks! Composing and playing these helps me keep in piping shape in my second half-century of life.

-David.
