The Ale of Atholl

Post by Hejhog » Thu Feb 16, 2006 5:05 pm

I visited Pitlochry this past weekend celebrating with my parents-in-law on their 40th wedding anniversary. My dad-in-law, also a piper, took the boys up to a wee village about 3/4 mile from Pitlochry called Moulin, there to sample some of the local ales from the Moulin Brewery (part of the Moulin Hotel). Their pub is fantastic spoilt only by the fact that Scotland lost to Wales in the Six Nations whilst we were there! I wrote 2 wee jigs when I got back to Berkshire - "The Ale of Atholl" (one of their brews) and "The High Road to Moulin". Hope you enjoy!!!
