Mrs. Astrid Kern is a fellow piper in my band. She shares out peppermint drops at the end of each band practice, a habit which has greatly enhanced the atmosphere on practice sessions.
As she is a very fine person to be with in general, I wrote this tune for her. Somehow, only a gentle, dancable waltz seemed appropiate.
