What a great tune! It's unusual to hear a hornpipe in this form but it really works, it's almost like a waltz. Some parts of it were really excellent. I can imagine this being played with an instrumental group rather than a solo piper.

Loved it! :)

Really nice tune. Have to agree with Stu, it does have a good waltzy feel to it.
Real Nice. Keep it up!

The name is kinda unusual tough. Is there a story behind it?

I agree....has a nice waltzy feel to it......One question I always ask when a tune is posted is the history behind it.....The history allows us to appreciate and pass on it's meaning when played in public.....and judging by the name......this one has to be "Interesting".....Mark

No, sorry, I’m afraid there’s not much of a story behind the title, it’s just a reference to the neptunian slug in a Futurama episode

Great tune, mate, with one change necessary I think.

Your tune is in quick triple time, which is, by definition, a Scherzo, so you can categorise your tune as such, and there won't be many of them around.

Will see what the guys in my band think when we get back in the new year, we are looking for something that wee bit different, after all.
