The Caledonian Society of Cincinnati

We have recently (July 29) moved from Sunningdale, England to Cincinnati, Ohio.

Last weekend I played my first gig with the band at the Caledonian Society Corn Roast.

This is a wee tune for the Society which is the oldest continuing Society in the US (180 years old this year!)

I hear, too, that the Scots Dragoon Guards first performed their famous (infamous?) Amazing Grace here in Cincinnati?

Cheers

Dave

Nice quick-step! That 2nd part has an especially nice sound. Maybe make the second line of that part the second line for the finish of the fourth part? In any case, a nice, solid 6/8 in the best of the tradition.

-David.
