Tripping up the Stairs

Post by Seahorse » Fri Dec 07, 2007 9:41 pm

Heard this on the radio the other day, just as I was playing about with Piobmaster. I've never been sure if it was traditional or not, but seems it is. So here it is in Piobmaster format.

Tripping Up the Stairs

Post by ladypiper47 » Sun Dec 09, 2007 3:15 am

I checked the index I have and only found a reference to Terry Tully as arranger. I also "Googled" the title and several references to this tune as traditional Irish music. If anyone has any information to the contrary we can remove the tune immediately.

Thanks for transcribing this LP. I've tried to get to grips with writing in BMW, but I'm just too slow with it.

Although I HAVE been looking at Celtic Pipes, and it seems it can import from Piobmaster, then export into BMW. It might be worth the money just for that facility alone. I'll download a copy and give it a try, I think.
