First sumbission: Rory Thomas

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

So I downloaded Bagpipe Player and have spent the last few days trying to learn the BWW codes. This is a hornpipe I composed for my son, whose name is the title. I would be grateful if any of the more experienced pipers would let me know if it's too similar to another tune (I'm always afraid I'm regurgitating something I've heard instead of creating something new!) and if there are any gross violations of idiom in the embellishment, etc.

Tapadh leibh agus tha mi ’n dòchas gun còrd e ruibh / Thanks and I hope you like it.

Really nice!

Good flow, nice swing and above all it sounds awesome!
You should (if you play in a band) show the Pipe Major this. This could be Medley Starting material!
