Chariots of Steel

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

Chariots of Steel

Not sure I'm done with this--may want to modify the repeat on the 4th part. Wanted a strong tune esp. for pipers who can hit low Gs with a firm reed.

Very nice tune.........However you may want to check your timing on the last bar of each part.....it does not measure 2/4......You have a 1/32 note on the double B, a 1/8th note with hold on a E, a 1/32 note tied to previous E, a G Grace note and a Low A 1/8th note.....the grand total would be 3/8 timing........But, if you change it to the 3/8 time signature you lose the "effect" of the tune in that bar.........Mark

If you change it to this, it fits fine without loosing the effect and the timing is correct.

Thanks for the note and recommendations--I'm going over it again.
Always dangerous to proofread one's own stuff.
