The Bond (6/8 March)

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

hmph, well I suppose I'd better start things off and make sure this works ok. Here is a tune I wrote quite a few years ago.

.bww of the bond?

Post by philamor » Thu Apr 15, 2004 8:57 am

Re posting the .bww version. My version of .bww came with a file convertor, which opens abc, .bgp and many more. It's free to downlaod and The Bond works fine with it. All you do is open the abc file, which gives you a .bww and text file, open the bww, highlight and copy the whole of the script, open your bww player and paste the clipboard onto a new page.

Not all ABC will open in BMW

Post by awpiper » Thu Apr 15, 2004 3:53 pm

Not all ABC files will open in the converter program.....SOme will have a "Note undefined F"......you physically have to go in and define the note value.....this happens normally on a embellishments.....since the program does not recognize them.....if you try to open ABC files with electric pipes you will see that it drops all the doublings and plays the tune flat.
Cait Am Biodh Na Puirt Nach Faigheadh Na Piobairean
(Where would the tunes be the pipers could not find)
