Honolulu Pipes and Drums play for the annual atheletic meet of the Ist Marine Division, at Kaneohe Marine Corp Air Station, Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii. I'm guessing about 30 years ago, because I'm in this picture, and that's about when I there.

Only the pipe-major was sinister, but he was Quebecois somewhere down the line, so we forgave him much! He wasn't an adept at digital manipulation, but apparently somebody knew enough to flip the pic in a photo programme.
The late Armel Frappia is the P/M. He was a great friend. The P/S is myself. Lots of the band isn't in the photo, but as I recall it was a very early Saturday morning muster. (Funny what a nice turnout we always got for pub night in the traps and dens of Waikiki.)
