I had a little problem with one of my new sets as well, a couple years ago, with the caps coming off. Went to the hardware store and researched some adhesives. You have to be careful not to use something that will do damage, or possibly expand too much. I was in Christenfeld, Denmark before, lovely place. Do you hang people for littering there. The place was spotless. Nice country.

I have the same pipes and my younger brother has McCallums without the embossing.

We purchased them in Aberdeen when on a School excursion in 2006 when we played at the British Pipe Championships.

We have 34 Pipers in our School Band and almost all are using McCallum pipes.

Hi everyone,

I now have a set of Silver and Ivory McCallum's (I'll post pictures soon).

RE If you are having a problem with the nickel on McCallum's going tarnished - use 'Brasso' to clean them up. It works a charm.

Cheers,
