A piper and friend has died.


Pipe Major Hugh McWhinnie passed away on September 18, 2013.
Hugh was the former pipe major of the RCAF 400 Sqd. Downsview Base , Toronto.
Most recent, he was pipe major of the Toronto Service Battalion pipe band in Denision Armoury, Toronto from 1985 - 2001when the band was forced to disband.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on October 19, 2013 from 1pm to 4pm at the Bradford Valley Speciality Care on the 6th line ( Simcoe Street) Bradford, Ontario.

I have a very good Tune called McWhinnies Paybook, which is not in any Publication that I know of
