Katell's Farewell to the Ceilli

Post by Hejhog » Sun Dec 04, 2005 8:00 pm

I was asked to write a wee tune for Katell who plays with Bagad de Kemper by a friend Stephane Marquis who plays with pipes and drums of Geneva. Katell is also Stephane's son's girlfriend and apparently "The Ceilli" is their local pub in Quimper, Brittany.

What an uplifting tune! I took to it in just a few bars of listening. Real Bagadesque, too.

Great for bellows-blown smallpipes--so you can smile when you play, and bounce up and down on the stool.

Tres jollie!

-David.
