My 1st go at writting

A great place to find new tunes. If you have composed your own tune, you can upload it here to let other pipers learn it and perhaps get some feedback. PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD TUNES YOU HAVE COMPOSED YOURSELF OR HAVE EXPRESS PERMISION FROM THE COMPOSER TO DO SO.
Please only create a new topic in this forum if you are uploading a tune.

My 1st go at writting

Post by Cammy The Piper » Fri Jul 22, 2005 3:34 pm

This is my first go at writing a simple tune and is named for my daughter. The 2nd part came to me first and I quite like it but I'm not convinced about 1st part.

I'd appreciate any comments, good or bad (not too bad hopefully!) or suggestions on improving it.

Cheers

Not bad for a first effort.......and it has meaning to you .......which in turn makes it special.
I set the tempo at 130 BPM.....hopefully that is acceptable.....it is where it sounded best.

I think the second part is very pretty (reminds me a tiny bit of the Clumsy Lover, which I love) and but it's all good for a first try. Well done!
