the simple flow of air

Bagpiping may, to the spectator, appear rather complex.

Yet, with a continuous breath of air into a resevoir, channelled to very simple vibrating media, such thunderous sound is released. Quite simple really, don't you think?

Yet again, the compexity is in the subtle manipulation of the limitation of the notes by a vitruoso into an ever broadening range of many different styles of music.

Yet still, such exponents of the humble bagpipe make it seem effortless. such atonement and creation, to be almost poetry.

So, I give you 'Ode to the humble bagpipe', a tribute to all exponents of the instrument.

If you cannot write a tune down that you can play so that they are identical, how can you truly say you know the tune!

That's I nice, rolling tune. I could easily see a band marching into
competition with that one.
